Australian Wade Ormsby claimed a nerve-jangling maiden Asian Tour title at the US$ 300,000 event to deny Thai veteran Boonchu Ruangkit from a historic victory at the Delhi Golf Club on Sunday. Ormsby ended the tournament at -9, one shot ahead of 2nd-placed Ruangkit. Shiv Kapur of India finished 4th at -6.

Thailand Golf Championship
South Africa’s Charl Schwartzel cruised to a commanding 11-shot win at the US$ 1 million event in Thailand to end a 20-month title drought since the 2011 Masters. American Bubba Watson and Thitiphun Chuayprakong of Thailand were tied 2nd at -14. Anirban Lahiri (IND) finished at a -8 score for tied 15th.
UBS Hong Kong Open
Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez achieved his treble of victories at the $2 million event when he signed off with a flawless -5 for a -15 total to lift the title for the third time on Sunday. Fredrik Andersson Hed of Sweden was 2nd, one shot behind. Jyoti Randhawa (IND) finished the tournament with a total of -4 and tied for 22nd.
Barclays Singapore Open
Italy’s Matteo Manassero prevailed in a gripping sudden-death playoff where he eagled the third play-off hole to pip South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen to the US$ 6 million event's title on Sunday. The duo was tied at scores of -13 during regulation play. Indian S.S.P. Chowrasia finished tied 17th at -4, compatriots Gaganjeet Bhullar and Shiv Kapur ending at -3 for tied 22nd.
CIMB Classic
American Nick Watney fired a scintillating -10 for a -22 total to win the US$ 6.1 million CIMB Classic by one shot from title holder Bo Van Pelt and Robert Garrigus on Sunday. Gaganjeet Bhullar of India finished tied 10th at -15. Tiger Woods finished tied 4th with a tournament total of -19.
Hero Indian Open 2012
Thaworn Wiratchant of Thailand sensationally won his third Asian Tour title this season at the US$1.25 million event by defeating Richie Ramsay of Scotland on the first play-off hole on Sunday when scores were tied at -14.
