What a coach can do for you!!

Hello Golfers!!
Since I am a teaching professional and this is my first weekly tip, I thought it important to explain the role of a coach not only for adult but also junior golfers as well. I thought this would be an ideal tip to put in perspective the remaining ones that will follow over the next few weeks.
Tip:
You can spend your whole life practicing, but are you sure that you are practicing the right technique?
"I used to hit balls for 8 hours everyday to get the best swing, it doesn't change much but now by just hitting a few balls with the right technique my game has improved.” - Quote by a weekend golfer
Practice is a way to increase muscle memory so that you can consistently repeat the right swing. Therefore, it becomes critical that you practice with the right technique to bring in lower scores. This is where a Coach can be of help in guiding you in the right direction.

A word of advice to parents of potential golf stars
For children who have potential, it is important to guide them in the initial steps by a Professional Coach rather than a Parent Golfer.
All this is possible through achieving the right Coach. A mutual understanding should exist between Pupil and Coach. The Coach should intrinsically grasp your ability, judge your flexibility, advise you on your equipment/fitness/diet & truly make you believe in yourself.
You as parents, have to remember that your child is going to grow and learn at different stages. Some kids don't score as well simply because they can't hit the ball as far as other kids of their age. Many times that's just because they're physically smaller. Each child’s grasp is different and also varies with technique which the Coach will oversee. Therefore, patience and encouragement on your part is extremely critical so that the child is motivated at all times.
