The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has stirred the hornet's nest by issuing new guidelines that bans leggings and plunging necklines. Women pro golfers could be fined $1,000 for wearing the same.

What's your take on this?

Well said Navjot! The new dress code policy has taken social media by storm but LPGA officials and some players believe that it is a case of much ado about nothing. However, a lot of players feel that the new rules can hamper the growth of the women's game.

To be fair the association can define the dress code - for example collared t-shirts and trousers for men. On the similar lines if dress code for women is collared t-shirt, shorts/skirts then thats it. The association cannot/should not get into details of what color/how many buttons etc should be there on the outfit. The golfer should have freedom to choose what to wear as long as no dress code is violated.
