About me: Currently, working as the Executive Vice President at Walmart India. I recently returned to live in India after 15 years. I spent the past decade and a half living in London, Sydney, Shanghai and Bangkok. I love travelling and learning about different cultures.
What inspired me to take Golf: I've always been a keen sportsman. I grew up playing tennis and in England, I played cricket on weekends. When I moved to Bangkok, I realised Thailand is golfers' paradise. Golf is very accessible - lots of people played which made it easy to get a game, and, the extensive network of courses around Bangkok made a game possible every weekend. It only took one trip to the course to get hooked!
Dream golf moment: My first (and only) eagle on the 9th at the Blue Canyon, Phuket and my first below 80 score at Lakewood Country Club, Bangkok are both special moments.
One thing I would like to change about Golf: I would welcome a change that encourages self-monitoring/ enforcement of pace of play more during social golf. Waiting constantly for the group ahead can turn an enjoyable Sunday morning round into a frustrating experience.
My favourite Golf superstition: I always end my warm-up before a round with a putt in the centre of the hole!,
