Diksha Dagar shot one of the greatest rounds of the IOA Golf Classic at the Alaqua Country Club on the last day, propelling herself to the top of the Epson Tour leaderboard.

Despite two double bogeys and a late bogey, the two-time Ladies European Tour champion and third-place finisher on the merit list in 2023 shot a final round score of 4-under 67 on the Par-71 course. She improved from making the cut on the line in T-58th position to complete the week at 1-under in tied-15th place with eight birdies.

With two top-10 finishes on the LET thus far, Diksha is in excellent form. She will play one more week on the Epson Tour when she returns to Atlantic Beach the following week.

Diksha, who had a modest opening-round score of 75, managed to make the cut with a second-round score of 71.

And then she played the difficult course with an incredible round. She birdied the first, sixth, and eighth holes before suffering a setback on the par-5 ninth. She then made more birdies on the back nine on the 10th, 11th, 13th, and 16th holes before missing a shot on the par-4 17th and closing with a par.

On the last day, Diksha found every fairway and only required 27 putts, compared to 32 and 30 on the first two days.

She performed significantly better on the opening two days, reaching the green in regulation on 15 of the 18 holes.

Jessica Peng produced an incredible 67 with five birdies against one bogey, trailing only second-round leader Lindsey McCurdy by four strokes. McCurdy, who finished second, lost by one shot despite scoring 72. McCurdy (66-65-72) finished at 10-under, while Jessica (66-69-67) finished with an 11-under total.

After a volatile day, McCurdy entered the 18th tee with a share of the lead. McCurdy's scorecard was colorful, with four birdies, five bogeys, an eagle, and a double bogey total. On the 18th hole, a tee shot that went straight out of the green resulted in the sixth and final bogey.

Peng's triumph came after seven years as a professional, even though 2022 was her first season on the Epson Tour. Korea’s Kum-Kang Park (68-68-68) was third, and Dewi Weber (66-66-73) was fourth.
