Whereas the winner of the tournament, French golfer Antonie Rozner holed the longest putt of his life from 60 feet to push the target further at 8-under, and Bhullar was left at 7-under. Bhullar shot 2-under 69 and finished at 7-under 277 alongside South African Darren Fichardt.

"I gave it my best shot and I will take positives from this week as I have a lot of events coming up," said Bhullar. It was Bhullar’s 2nd runner-up finish in a European tour event since he came 2nd in Avantha Masters, India in 2013.

Antonie Rozner felt utmost happiness on his victory at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

“It’s unreal,” he said. “In my biggest dreams, I couldn’t imagine anything like this happening. It’s probably the biggest putt of my career, only my 2nd year on tour. “I am playing great so I am just doing, playing the way I’ve been playing the last two years and I’m excited to see what the future holds for me. It’s very promising,’’ said Rozner.

Furthermore, India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar has handled the swirling winds at the Doha Golf, Club. He brought home an impressive 3-under 68 to rise from T-28 to Tied-2nd in the final round of the Qatar Masters.
