The Golf Rendezvous PRO-AM League (GRPL) 2026 is set to introduce a distinctive format that aims to redefine how amateur and corporate golf leagues are played in India. Unlike traditional club leagues that are typically played on a single home course, GRPL 2026 will see teams compete across seven different golf courses throughout the season, testing players’ adaptability, consistency and strategic approach to the game.
The league will culminate in an international final, where all participating teams will travel overseas for the concluding leg of the competition. With an INR 1 crore prize pool on the line, the final promises to elevate both the competitive stakes and the overall experience for players.
The multi-course format has been designed to create a more comprehensive test of golfing ability. Each course presents unique challenges in terms of layout, terrain, conditions and strategy, ensuring that teams must consistently perform across varied environments during the season.
Speaking about the vision behind the league, Dinesh Thakur, Founder of GRPL, emphasized the importance of introducing a more dynamic structure to amateur golf competitions.
According to Thakur, the objective of GRPL is to move beyond conventional formats and create a league that offers variety, competitiveness and a larger platform for amateur golfers. By incorporating multiple golf courses and an international finale, the league aims to bring a fresh dimension to the amateur golfing ecosystem in India.
The upcoming season is expected to bring together teams representing different cities, competing over the course of the year before culminating in the international finale.
