The year 2023 witnessed an exceptional chapter in Indian golf, marking outstanding growth of International golfers such as Gaganjeet Bhullar, Chikkarangappa S , and Manu Gandas delivered exceptional performances. Additionally, the top three players in the PGTI—Shamim Khan, Rashid Khan, and Mukesh Kumar—have crossed the 3 crore prize money mark.

 


Gaganjeet Bhullar's Stellar Season:


Gaganjeet Bhullar, a key figure in Indian men's professional golf, achieved his best season-ending rank, securing the third position on the Asian Tour's Order of Merit in 2023. Bhullar also secured the 12th rank in the PGTI, collect a total prize money of ₹5,027,050. This marked a consistent upward trajectory from ₹4,740,750 in 2021 and ₹5,135,000 in 2022.

Chikkarangappa S's Notable Achievements:

 

Adding to the impressive roster of Indian golfers, Chikkarangappa S secured the 4th position on the PGTI ranking list in 2023. His notable victory in the Tata Steel Tour Championship, coupled with a strong performance in the Hero Indian Open 2023, underscores his prowess and adds to the growing reputation of Indian golfers on the global stage.
