In a recent turn of events, Anirban Lahiri, who secured his spot for the upcoming 2024 LIV Golf season with a 13th place finish on the LIV Golf's Individual standings last week, has concluded his season on a triumphant note. Lahiri played a pivotal role as his team, the Crushers, clinched victory in the season-ending final Team Championship in Florida.

LIV Golf Team Champions Crushers – Charles Howell III, Bryson DeChambeau, Anirban Lahiri & Paul Casey

The championship followed a unique format where all four team members' scores were counted each day. Lahiri's outstanding performance in the final round, with a remarkable 7-under 65, greatly contributed to the Crushers' success. He received crucial support from his team captain, Bryson DeChambeau, who delivered a final day score of 67, leading to a thrilling two-shot victory over their competitors, the RangeGoats.

The tension was palpable in the final round, creating a "pressure cooker" situation. However, Lahiri and DeChambeau rose to the occasion, sinking clutch putts when it mattered most. Meanwhile, their opponents stumbled, ultimately resulting in the Crushers emerging as the victors.

According to LIV Golf, the prize money earned by each team is divided in a specific manner, with 60 percent going to the team as a whole and 10 percent allocated to each of the four participating players.

The final team results were as follows:

- Crushers GC (-11): Anirban Lahiri 65, Bryson DeChambeau 67, Charles Howell III 72, Paul Casey 73. The team secured a substantial prize money of $14,000,000.

- RangeGoats GC (-9): Bubba Watson 67, Talor Gooch 70, Thomas Pieters 70, Harold Varner III 72. They earned a prize money of $8,000,000.

- Torque GC (-6): Joaquin Niemann 66, David Puig 71, Sebastián Muñoz 72, Mito Pereira 73. The team received a total prize money of $6,000,000.

This remarkable victory not only capped off Lahiri's individual season on a high note but also solidified the Crushers' position as champions in the LIV Golf's final Team Championship, making it a memorable moment in the world of golf.
