Yes, you heard that right! From being unsure about participating in the PGA Championship to playing a practice round with the titan Tiger Woods, India’s star Golfer Anirban Lahiri had it all.

Lahiri, who’s playing a major after almost three years, was in for a delight as Tiger Woods surprisingly walked into the tee and asked Lahiri if they would play a practice round together.

Lahiri said, "I headed to the first tee and there were a few players there, and me and Tiger were standing around. There was some confusion as to who was going and it was then just me and Tiger, and he asked me (to play together) and why would I ever say no to that invitation! It was just random, it was serendipity."
Woods played nine holes before he left and then Lahiri got to play nine holes with Bryson DeChambeau, who later withdrew as his hand is still not okay after surgery.
"I had a really fun day, an interesting day. It was quite the surprise," said Lahiri.
Earlier, Lahiri was not sure if he would be able to make it at the PGA Championship as he and his wife were expecting their second born. However, he announced the arrival of his son yesterday in one of his tweets and also confirmed his participation for the PGA Championship.
