Delhi Royals head to the Bengaluru Leg after a podium finish in Hyderabad, carrying the momentum into Prestige Golfshire.

 

After an impressive podium finish in Hyderabad, Delhi Royals head to the Bengaluru Leg of GRPL Season 1 at Prestige Golfshire on 24th July carrying momentum, belief and a squad built to challenge for the top.

 

India's first women-led golf franchise has quickly become one of the league's most talked-about teams,not only for its performances on the golf course but also for what it represents beyond it. Owned by Vega Jahajgarhia and Tanvi Gupta, Delhi Royals continue to redefine the franchise model by proving that leadership, ambition and competitive golf can thrive together.

 

A Team Built to Compete

Following a 3rd-place finish at Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club, the Royals now sit 4th in the overall standings, firmly within touching distance of the league leaders.

Leading the team in Bengaluru will be Pooja Ahluwalia, whose brilliant seven-under 65 in Hyderabad was the best net score for Delhi Royals and the joint second-best round of the tournament. Her consistency under pressure and standout performance in Hyderabad make her a fitting choice to lead the Royals in Bengaluru.

The squad combines proven professionals with some of India's strongest amateur talent. Three-time Women's Pro Golf Tour winner Vidhatri Urs brings championship experience, while rising professional Priya Kumari, fresh from her victory at the IGU Pune Ladies Championship, adds youthful momentum to an already balanced squad.

The amateur contingent is equally impressive, led by Mayali Kashyap (Handicap Index 0.7), Gauri Joshi (1.0), Paromita Mukherjee (1.4), Nandita Kumar (5.4), Lata Shivanna (7.4), Neetu Bansal (9.6) and Nooraine Fazal, Founder and Managing Trustee of Inventure Academy, who brings both leadership and experience to the Royals.

 

Blending experienced professionals, elite amateurs, accomplished entrepreneurs and rising young talent, Delhi Royals arrive in Bengaluru with one of the most diverse and balanced squads in GRPL Season 1.
