A phenomenal week for Indian golfers at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club, as Tvesa Malik tied 9th at 10 under along with Aditi Ashok who tied 13 at 9 under. Diksha Dagar missed the cut.

Closing Day 1 tied 52 at 2 over, the leap on the leaderboard for Tvesa was magnificent and admire worthy. With the utter interest to build the perfection of 10 under (74-69-67-68), Tvesa played a phenomenal square. The other players who tied with her are Australia’s Stephanie Kyriacou, England’s Georgia Hall and Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen.

Aditi too swung her way from T40 to T13 at 9 under with a total of 279 (73-69-69-68) as she tied along with American golfer Lindsey Weaver and Sweden’s Linnea Strom. With five birdies and one bogey, the final round was a lucky slot for Aditi.
New Zealand’s Lydia Ko fired a final round of 65 to triumph by five shots at the Saudi Ladies International. Ko, who is seventh in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, began the day on 16-under-par and started well with a birdie on the first. The two-time Major winner continued her fine form with birdies at five and seven before she sank an eagle putt on the par-five ninth to make the turn in 31 (-5).

“When I was out there, I was just trying to play the best golf that I can. I knew a lot of the top names were playing really well and this is a golf course where there’s a fair amount of birdies, so I was just trying to have my fair share of them and have fun out there,” said Ko.
