The Royal Trial of India — Official Launch Film
Watch Now!

India is about to witness a golfing spectacle unlike anything before.

Introducing The Royal Trial of India, a first-of-its-kind national PRO-AM team league that blends legacy, city pride, and elite competition into one grand sporting movement.

Inspired by the ancient Indian philosophy of earning supremacy through discipline and mastery rather than force, the Golf Rendezvous PRO-AM League (GRPL) reimagines competition for the modern era where honour is earned stroke by stroke.

8 TEAMS. 6 CITIES. 1 TROPHY.

Eight city franchises compete across six events for one championship crown.

Eight city franchises compete across six events for one championship crown.

8 city-based teams will enter the arena, each carrying the identity, pride, and command of their region. Across six competitive events hosted in different cities, teams will battle for supremacy in a structured league format.

After every city leg, the official points table will be updated, intensifying rivalries and building momentum toward the grand culmination.

Each event will test composure under pressure, strategic excellence, and collective team strength because in GRPL, every stroke contributes not just to an individual score, but to a city’s standing.

This is not an exhibition.
This is a structured, high-stakes, travelling league format.

A FORMAT NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN INDIAN GOLF

While Indian golf has seen professional tournaments and pro-ams, a travelling city-based league format of this scale has never been executed before.

GRPL introduces:

  • City-based franchise teams
  • Multi-city league calendar
  • Live points standings after every event
  •  An international grand finale
  • INR 1 Crore Prize Pool

The league is designed to combine competitive excellence with aspirational scale, bringing together elite golfers, corporate leaders, and serious amateurs under one royal banner.

THE INTERNATIONAL FINALE

The Royal Trial culminates at an international destination finale where the  teams will compete for ultimate glory.

The Royal Trial concludes on the global stage.

All teams will be hosted at the international venue with a fully paid experience excluding air travel, reinforcing the league’s commitment to delivering a world-class sporting standard.

One city will rise.
One banner will stand tall.
One team will be crowned Champion.

MORE THAN A LEAGUE A MOVEMENT

GRPL is built on values that define the game itself:

Discipline. Strategy. Composure. Honour.

Every participating team becomes more than a lineup, it becomes a representation of its city’s character.

With structured storytelling, cinematic presentation, and a powerful national narrative, GRPL aims to elevate golf into a league format that commands attention across sport, business, and media.

A CALL TO CITIES

The Royal Trial of India is now open.

Team ownership opportunities are limited.
Eight banners. Eight identities. One historic journey.

Those who believe their city deserves to compete at the highest level can now step forward and be part of India’s most ambitious golf league ever conceived.
