The United Services Club was established in 1937 and is located in a prime location at Colaba, Mumbai by the sea. It is run jointly by the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. The club has an 18-hole golf course. The Main Club has a bar, dining and all sporting facilities. The Annexe which is by the sea side is located half a kilometer from the Main Club. The Annexe has a fine-dine restaurant called Lagoon, a coffee shop, a restaurant by the sea side called High Tide, another called Tee-Cix and six party venues which can accommodate from 20 to 600 guests. It has almost a kilometre long promenade along the sea. A bar cum restaurant overlooks the sea. Serving and retired officers and some eminent civilians only are members of the club. Membership to civilians is closed since 2001. It is one of the elite clubs of Mumbai and honours reciprocal arrangements with selected clubs in the country.
