Course Description

Hyderabad Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-70 golf course located near Golconda Fort on Seven Tombs Road, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Developed through an initiative of the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation and operated by the Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA), the course offers a distinctive golfing experience within a historic heritage setting. A remarkable feature of the layout is that 14 holes are situated within the ramparts of Naya Qila, an extension of the historic Golconda Fort. The course combines natural rocky terrain, granite formations, water bodies, landscaped fairways and championship-quality greens to create an engaging challenge for golfers. Its unique integration of heritage architecture and modern golf design makes it one of the most distinctive golf courses in India. Hyderabad Golf Club offers a range of facilities, including a floodlit driving range, golf academy, professional coaching, practice areas, a Pro Shop and a modern clubhouse with dining facilities. The club also provides golf equipment rental and training opportunities for beginners and experienced players. As Hyderabad's public golf facility, it welcomes non-members and visiting golfers who meet its playing requirements, including a valid handicap certificate recognised by IGU or USGA-affiliated clubs. The course has hosted professional tournaments such as the Golconda Masters on the Professional Golf Tour of India circuit. For golfers searching for a golf course in Hyderabad or exploring places to play golf in Telangana, Hyderabad Golf Club offers a memorable combination of championship golf and historic surroundings.
