The Haryana Tourism owned & operated golf course derives its nomenclature from the Aravallis- a lofty mountain range running across the state of Haryana.

Set up in the year 1966, it was the first golf course to be set up in Faridabad, Haryana. The building was designed by the famous architect Joseph Allan Stein & the course design was done by Stephan Kay, the famous Golf Architect from the U.S.A. The Golf course was taken up by Haryana Tourism in the year 1988 and re-designed by Stephan Kay, a renowned golf architect from USA. Now the course is spread over 75 acres and has a 12 holes facility.

The best part of this course - its open 365 days a year!! The fairways are not really fairways...its more of a ground. The course design is okay..five par 4s, two par 3s and two par 5s. Its a 9-hole golf course and different pin positions on 6 holes and 3 holes with different greens on the back 9. Given the cost ..300 weekday and 500 weekend its absolutely worth it. And from what I know the management uses recycled water on the course. Only hope the quality of fairways and greens is improved so that serious golfers can enjoy the course too

Its a tough course with narrow fairways. Par 5's are however less challenging if you are a straight hitter/iron player. The course has a lot of wooded area, however, its not as thick as DGC yet extremely challenging. Greens are mostly slow and dont hold, which makes it extremely challenging and different. Overall a fun course.
