November 10th 2010, Singapore:
Q. What are your thoughts for the week ahead?
A. I’m looking forward to it. I always loved Singapore because it is a beautiful city. I’ve played on this golf course once and it is a great challenge.
Q. Let’s talk about your win in the United States?
A. I’ve been playing consistently in the United States for the whole year under a medical exemption and had limited starts to get the job done (secure his PGA Tour card) but as you guys know, I qualified on Monday and won. That was a little bit more special for me just to go through all the rigors of Monday qualifying and getting the job done.
Q. What was the turnaround for you after a slow start to the year and suddenly winning a PGA Tour tournament?
A. I was actually playing pretty well this year. I missed only two tournaments this year by one shot and one of it was the US Open. I was in contention a few times with two other top-10s. I was playing well the whole year and when a player starts playing well, your confidence starts to build.
Q. What are you expecting this week?
A. I haven’t played all that well the last two weeks and have a couple of technical issues which I have to sort out.
Q. Can you specify what changes you need to make?
A. This is my fourth week in a row after Vegas and when you’re playing that much, I don’t really practise so there’s a few issues like alignment issues that crept in but I’ll probably get that sorted out by tomorrow.
Q. Obviously you are very familiar with main course but have you had the chance to look at the other one?
A. I haven’t but I’ll see it on Friday!
