Hoshino the second Japanese player to win on the tour in five months.
The Japanese player, who has won six times on the Japan Golf Tour, took the lead early in the final round with a birdie on the second hole. Despite a couple of bogeys, he turned at one under par with a pair of birdies. Another birdie at the tenth hole put him in a tight competition with Coussaud for the win.
Both players added more birdies towards the end, but it was the Japanese golfer who sealed the victory with a par on the 18th hole, claiming his first DP World Tour title. This win also makes him the second Japanese player to win on the tour in five months.
