Sentosa, October 22, 2009:
Reigning Asian Tour Order of Merit winner and PGTI member Jeev Milkha Singh will be flying the tricolour at next season’s US PGA Tour as he recently secured his Tour card.
The Indian ace, currently ranked 52nd in the world, sealed his card courtesy of two top-10 finishes in the United States this season.
"The final round of 8-under par 64 at the Turning Stone Resort Championship helped me finish tied seventh. That should help me earn enough money for the season to be inside the top-125 of the 2009 PGA Tour Money List. From what I have been told, the 125th player this season should earn around US$ 700,000," said Singh.
Singh, a six-time Asian Tour winner, was scheduled to play in the Frys.com Open in the US this week but had to withdraw due to an injured right ankle.
