As the Ladies European Tour is going on, excitement is on its way. So, the Round 1 for the Ladies European Tour 2022 has been carried out.
Swedish golfer, Lisa Pettersson has managed to secure the top position with a dominating score of 67. The veteran reached four-under-par effortlessly after scoring birdies on the 3rd, 5th, 10th, 11th and 15th hole.
“The wind is really tough. There are a few holes that are extremely long when the wind is hurting so much, I tried to just take one shot at a time,” the Swedish golfer said.
From India, Jahanvi Bakshi finished at T32 with a score of four-above-par 75. With two single bogeys at 14th and 15th hole, 1 double bogey at the 2nd hole and 1 triple bogey at the 13th hole; she managed to score 75. Up next from India again, Seher Atwal managed to be at T44. With the help of two birdies at the 8th and the 16th hole, she had scored 74 playing at the south course.
Gaurika Bishnoi from India again, playing from the south course at La Manga club is on T57 with a score of 75 with two birdies at the 4th and the 13th hole.
Mim Sangkapong from Thailand finished at T22 after scoring birdies in the 1st and the 9th hole. The Thai golfer scored 74, (+3) at par. After hitting a birdie for the first hole, she went a bit down. But at the end, with the help of one more birdie, she managed to maintain the score to 74.
