In the next round of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour at Bombay Presidency Golf Club, amateur golfer Nishna, who had a great start in 2024, is hoping to continue her success. She won the first leg against competitors Sneha Singh and Hitaashee Bakshi, and now she wants to keep doing well.

Some other important players in the event are Vani Kapoor, who is checking her performance before playing in events on the Sunshine Tour in South Africa. Amandeep Drall is also part of the event this week. Players like Neha Tripathi, Seher Atwal, and Ridhima Dilawari are looking to find their form early in the season before playing in international tours.

Sneha Singh, who won the Hero Order of Merit in 2023, and Hitaashee Bakshi are expected to be strong contenders this week. The competition includes experienced players, amateurs, and new talents who are eager to make a mark.

The total prize money for the event is Rs 12 lakh, and 33 professionals and six amateurs are participating. Among the amateurs, national champion Vidhatri Urs and Mannat Brar are also getting ready for the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific next month.

In the previous week, Nishna won the competition, showing that amateurs are becoming more influential in professional golf. Mannat also did well, finishing tied for fourth place. This shows that amateurs are becoming more competitive in professional tournaments.
