Almost after seven years, leader of the Race to Costa Del Sol ranking, Aditi Ashok managed to have her name amoung the top of the leaderboard on LPGA to get her way into a playoff on the tour at Wilshire Country Club, Los Angeles

Although , it was not her day to win the trophy in this championship but she still found a win by Tied-2 ( 66, 70, 72, 67). Bangalore based Aditi played 9-under 275 who started great on the tournament, accounting for a bogey free 5-under which was her lowest round of the event. The second day was another best statistical round where she shot 1-under 70 and took 36-hole lead to make her fisrt cut of the current year 2023.
Ashok hit 252.5 yards off the tee, didn’t miss a fairway and needed just 27 putts to win the tournament. American player Hannah Green ( 68, 69, 69, 69) won the LA Championship in the playoff. Nelly Korda the No. 1 player in women's golf tied- 6 (69, 71, 70, 67)

According to media sources, Ashok said, “I think overall it’s a good week.” “I’ve never played in this position on the LPGA, to be near the lead on the first day and stay there the whole tournament." “The competition is just so deep out here. Ten people have a good tournament but only one can win. I’m happy with the way I played.”
The third day of the tournament went quite cool for Aditi, but she again got all the spark on the final day of the championship. She carded 4-under with five birdies and a bogey on 17th to get a total of 9-under.

The final leaderboard made Aditi Ashok to stand in a play off with Hannah Green and Xiyu Lin, where she was eliminated on the first hole after making par.
This was her first splashing performance on the LPGA Tour for this season, as she wins Ladies Open on LET which was her first win in five years and now leads the Race to Costa Del Sol.
“Get a week off so I’m going to relax,” Ashok said of her plans moving forward. “This week was actually a little more exhausting than I thought it was going to be. But, still, I’m happy with where my game is at, so just work on the same stuff and try and do some of this at Founders too.”
As a result, Australia’s Hannah Green took home $450,000 after winning her third career title in this two-hole playoff. Aditi along with Chinese player Xiyu Lin took home $242,747 as the winning amount.
