Scottie Scheffler became PGA Tour Player of Year in College GameDay.

Scottie Scheffler, an alumnus of university of texas wins four victories in a PGA Tour at the WM Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play and the Masters and became the first player to win four times in a six-start stretch after Jason Day became one in 2014-2015 season.

 

 

The PGA tour has announced him the 2022 PGA TOUR player of the year. He also stands at No. 1 position in the official world Golf Ranking on 27 March and has maintained this position for 24 consecutive weeks. He bagged a total of four winnings this season and won $14.05 million. Other than PGA TOUR player of the year where he received the Jack Nicklaus Award, he was also honored with the title of Korn Ferry Tour Player of the year and PGA TOUR Rookie of the year in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

 

 

He received this gratitude over his two peers Rory Mcllory and Cameron Smith. The PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan also congratulated the golfer.
