Throughout the final round, Scheffler showcased remarkable resilience and skill, firing a brilliant four-under 68 to finish the tournament at 11 under par. This victory marked his third win of the season, following previous triumphs at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship.
Scheffler's closest competitor was Ludvig Åberg, making his major debut and delivering a stunning performance to finish as the runner-up, seven shots behind Scheffler. Tommy Fleetwood, Max Homa, and Collin Morikawa ended the tournament tied for third place at four under par.

Despite high expectations, Rory McIlroy's bid for a career Grand Slam fell short as he finished tied for 22nd, while defending champion Jon Rahm had a disappointing title defense, finishing tied for 45th. Tiger Woods, marking his 100th competitive round at The Masters, struggled throughout the tournament, ultimately finishing at the bottom of those making the cut.
Scheffler's victory was characterized by his strong performance on the back nine, where he extended his lead with key birdies. Despite challenges from his closest rivals, including Morikawa and Åberg, Scheffler maintained control, ultimately securing an emotional victory, his ninth on the PGA Tour in just 26 months.
Other notable performances included Bryson DeChambeau, who finished tied for sixth, securing his place in next year's Masters field. Similarly, Tyrrell Hatton's solid play earned him a share of ninth place and an invitation to the 2025 contest.

Throughout the tournament, Scheffler's consistency and composure were evident, particularly in crucial moments where he capitalized on opportunities to extend his lead. His ability to maintain focus and deliver under pressure solidified his status as a dominant force in the world of golf.
In summary, Scottie Scheffler's impressive performance at The Masters showcased his skill and determination, securing him a well-deserved victory and further establishing his position as the world's top-ranked player.
