The leaderboard seemed to have displayed the name of the Denmark player Thorbjorn Olesen who scored 8-under 64 in the third round of the tournament. He had an amazing bogey free round with three consecutive birdies on the back nine , making it a total of eight birdies in this round. The 6 times DP World tour winner moved to the first place in the leaderboard from tied-3 in the second round.

Thai amateur TK Ratchanon Chantananuwat was tied-20 with a score  of 3-under 69. He got this down as he got no birdie and two consecutive bogeys on 5th and 6th. Although his back was quite good, he got 5 birdies in his account.
