The Masters 2023 under PGA Tour, one of the first golf major is here. First day of the tournament had created history in its own term, as Jon Rahm had hit a double bogey on the first hole. No golfer on record has ever seen to have a double bogey on the first hole of The Masters, but Job Rahm is the man to create history at the Augusta National.

Sharing the top position on the leaderboard with Viktor Hovland and Brooks Koepka, Rahm played 7-under 65. Currently World No. 3 in OWGR , Jon Rahm birdied three holes on the front nine, i.e. on 2nd , 3rd and 7th. Starting with a double bogey on 1st, he played an eagle shot on Par 5 8th hole. Walking towards the back nine he birdied 13th, 15th and 16th.
Another leader of the day Viktor Hovland finished the round with 5 birdies on 6th, 8th, 9th, 11th and 13th. This 25 year old Norwegian hitting his shot from the same bunker as woods, where woods bogeyed the 18th hole, Viktor swished a much more swift escape to six feet and managed save his par shot on 18th. An eagle shot on the 2nd was his highlight for the day.
Next comes at Tied-1 was Brooks Koepka who was the third player to shoot a7-under 65 with a bogey free front nine. He birdied 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 17th and 18th. He accounted for a bogey shot as well on 13th, a hole where everyone expected him to pick up a shot or two. meanwhile his playing partner Gary Woodland, the 2019 US Open champion also managed to have a birdie putt on 18 and scored at the bottom of a 68.

Two strokes behind were Cameron Young and Jason Day who scored 5-under 67. Young birdied three consecutive holes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd on the front nine and bogeyed the 6th. he birdied one extra hole on the back nine making the number 4 and bogeyed 12th.
Jason Day from Australia went for a bogey free round. He birdied 4th, 9th, 13th, 16th and 17th, parred the rest of the holes, securing his place in the Top -10 by the end of the first round.

Cameron Smith Tied-17 along with Matthew Fitzpatrick. Patrick Reed with Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Max Homa and other was seen at Tied-26 by the end of the first round of the tournament.

Superstar golfer Rory Mcllroy and Tommy Fleetwood were on Tied-37. Tiger Woods played 2-over 74 on the first day of The Masters with five bogey shots during the round.
