Anibaran Lahiri has joined the 2021 Players’ Championship after Brooks Koepka retreated from the tournament due to an unfortunate knee injury. Brooks has strained his right knee and has to further consult his physician to evaluate the type of injury. With this Brooks will be replaced in the 154-player field by Anibaran Lahiri.
Lahiri’s performance at Puerto Rico open wasn’t up to the expectations of his fans, he had tied 39th position in the tournament. Following his bitter-sweet performance at Puerto Rico, he entered into the weekend by playing in Arnold Palmer Invitational 2021 at the Bay Hill Club, Florida. Even this time he wasn’t able to get the ball rolling Since he wasn’t able to make the cut.
What’s your opinion on him playing as a replacement for Brook’s Koepka, will he be able to make a cut at the Players’ Championship 2021?
