participation in golf tournaments

Hi, myself Puneet Singh what is the procedure of participating in golf tournaments. I play in QGC with 12 handicap. I am not a member i pay & play. so now i want to participate in tournaments.

At present, most of the events are corporate events but i am aware that we will soon see a lot of events running for 3-4 days and basically OPEN for all golfers to join. I assume they will be Pay-Play .... however, they will be good fun! :-)
