I am Air Commodore S S Rehal VSM. I  was commissioned in Indian Air Force in Aeronautical Engineers (Electronics) branch in 1990 after doing M Sc in Electronics from Delhi University. While in service, I did M Tech from IIT Delhi in 2000. I am a graduate of the prestigious Defence Services Staff College. I hold post graduate degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Chennai University and PGDM (Finance) from National Institute of Financial Management.  I superannuated from IAF on 30 Apr 2025. Now I have my own consultancy firm - Pentad Aerospace Solutions. 

I am married to Mrs Deepkiran Rehal, who is an academician and a counsellor. We are blessed with two boys – Ishnishan Singh, Post graduate in Design from IIT Delhi, working in an MNC and Dr Naunihal Singh preparing for MD.
