Course Description

Fraser Hill Golf Course, also known as Royal Fraser’s Hill Golf Club, is a historic 9-hole golf course in Bukit Fraser, Pahang, Malaysia. Established in 1925 by British engineer Frank Hemmant, the course is among Malaysia’s oldest golf destinations. Situated in the cool highlands at approximately 1,500 metres above sea level, it offers a peaceful golfing experience surrounded by lush rainforest, rolling hills, and fresh mountain air. The compact layout features a par-32 course with narrow fairways and challenging sections that reward accurate shots and careful course management. Its scenic setting makes it an appealing choice for golfers searching for golf courses in Pahang, golf courses near Kuala Lumpur, and places to play golf in Malaysia. Unlike many modern golf resorts, Fraser Hill Golf Course retains its traditional character, with players walking the course rather than using golf buggies. Its short layout suits casual rounds, practice sessions, and golfers looking to combine golf with a highland getaway. Located near Fraser’s Hill’s historic clock tower and local accommodation, the course is convenient for visitors exploring the area’s nature trails and colonial-era architecture.
