Hokkaido Classic Golf Club, the first course in Japan was built in 1901. Over a century has passed since then, and there are now over 300 courses designed by European and American designers in the country. This club, which opened in 1991, is one of those prestigious courses, and just as the emperor Jack Nicklaus said, "I designed it with my hometown, Muirfield Village, in mind," it is said to be one of Jack Nicklaus' masterpieces, fusing beauty and strategy at a high level.
