Jagorawi Golf & Country Club- New Course was designed by Thomson & Wolveridge. It was opened in 1991 and quickly earned a reputation as one of the most demanding tests of golf in the Asia Pacific Region. In 1997 it was the host venue for the Indonesian Open and saw a winner in Aussie golfer Craig Perry. The New Course measures 6,322 meters. Although the fairways appear much wider than the Old Course, often they become restricted through the landing zones with well-placed and deep faced fairway bunkers waiting to capture the next victim. From the back tee, the 11th hole is one of the most dramatic par 3 holes found anywhere. Playing its entire length over the winding Cikeas River to a narrow green that is surrounded by the same river at three sides this hole can be a score breaker. Holes #11, #12 and #13 are among the toughest on this New Course course and make up for JG&CC’s own “Amen Corner”.
