Located in a rather “high and hilly” part of the Cikeas river valley, Jagorawi Golf & Country Club- Old Course is situated in an impressive former jungle-setting that more than typifies the natural beauty of the vast archipelago that is called Indonesia. The first three holes will have you descent some 200 meters into the valley from which the Old Course came to be. Opened for play of the first 9 holes in 1979, the Old Course is the Jewel in the Crown of golf at the Jagorawi Golf & Country Club (JG&CC), the country’s pioneering “new era” golf club. The total length of 6,023 meters seems to be “short” by all standards in golf, but it’s not to be underestimated. It surely belies its true challenge.
