Course Description

Kelab Golf Miri, also known as Miri Golf Club, is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course in Pulau Melayu, Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. Established in 1910, it is one of the region’s historic golf clubs, with the first six holes of its existing course constructed in 1924. Set on a flat coastal sandbar between the Miri River and the South China Sea, the course combines seaside scenery with mature casuarina trees, open fairways, and a peaceful natural setting. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards add challenge to the terrain, making it an appealing option for golfers searching for golf courses in Miri, golf courses in Sarawak, and places to play golf in Malaysia. The course offers a traditional golfing experience for players of different skill levels, with coastal breezes, carefully positioned hazards, and strategic shot-making playing important roles throughout the round. Club facilities include a driving range, putting green, pro shop, golfers’ terrace, restaurant, and swimming pool. Its location close to Miri city centre makes Kelab Golf Miri a convenient choice for residents and visitors exploring golf in Sarawak. Golfers planning a visit can check the club’s official website for current golf tee times, green fees, visitor access, and golf tee time booking arrangements.
