Narita Hills Country Club, located about 30 minutes from Narita Airport in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course designed by renowned architect Pete Dye. The course spans 7,113 yards from the black tees and features undulating fairways, strategically placed ponds, and bunkers that harmonize with the natural beauty of the Boso region. Notably, it was the first in Japan to introduce 'Memorial' grass on all holes, ensuring vibrant green play year-round. The signature 16th hole is a downhill dogleg par-4, influenced by gusts from a nearby pond, requiring players to adeptly read the wind. After a round, golfers can relax in the luxurious clubhouse, adorned with antique-style furniture and chandeliers, offering a refined atmosphere and superior service.
