Ono Golf Club, established on November 3, 1961, was built on a natural forest area with the scenic Kamo Pond, home to migrating ducks. Initiated by local volunteers and approved by the prefecture, the course was developed by Toyohiko Inui, then-chairman of Hirono Golf Club, and designed by Osamu Ueda to preserve the natural terrain. A sister course to Hirono, Ono Golf Club has hosted major tournaments like the Japan Open. Renovated in 1994 with bentgrass greens, the course offers a strategic layout, blending water and mountainous landscapes for a challenging yet picturesque experience.
