Shillong Golf Course is one of the oldest and biggest golf courses in the world. Introduced by an elite group of British officers in the late 19th century, it is one of the charms of Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya. Owing to its lush green meadows and incredible views, the United States of Golf Association and Museum has titled this golf course - “The Glen Eagle of the East”.
