Course Description

The Emerald is an actual country golf course. Named Ban Chang initially and then Rayong Century Golf Club, the course is set into the mountains outside Rayong. The Emerald Golf Club is one of the lesser-known Pattaya golf courses. The Emerald is a veritable work of art by two well-known golf architects. Nick Faldo and the Desmond Muirhead. The 18-hole design weaves through the pristine rainforest of mature trees that still provide sanctuary to various native birds. The gentle yet beautiful contours of the fairways, the volcanic-like greens, challenging par-3’s, and the subtle water placements make the Emerald one the most challenging golf courses in Thailand. Unlike many other Pattaya golf courses, driving accuracy is favored over length as there is a considerable premium when hitting the fairways.
