MAXX POWER GOLF is a Dynamic and innovative golf events company in USA owned and operated by long drive qualifier Mr. Sukhsimran Singh Gill (Dimpy) who started golf from Chandigarh Golf Club about 30 years back. Sukhsimran Singh Gill created history on the US soil by becoming the first Indian golfer to make it to the Remax World Long Drive finals. His longest drive till date is recorded at 394 yards.

To run its operations in India, Sukhsimran Singh Gill has appointed KD Joti as the Events Director, Arvind Dutt the CFO, Ajay Gujral as Director of Public Relations, Promotion and Instruction for Maxx Power Golf and Sanjit Singh Bala as the Director Co-ordination.

Maxx Power Golf will organise the first International Long Drive Championship in India at Chandigarh Golf Club with participants from India and other countries, thereafter take this event to other regions and golf courses in India. The winner at the Chandigarh Golf Club could have a shot at the $5,00,000 purse in the famous RE-MAX WORLD LONG DRIVE COMPETITION at MESQUITE, NEVADA, USA.

According to Capt. GS Ghuman, Chairman of Tournament & Finance Committee at Chandigarh Golf Club, “the Chandigarh event would be conducted from 23rd – 29th November. On 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th & 27th the pre-qualifiers will be held for the Finals on 28th & 29th November. The qualifiers will take place on the Driving Range of Chandigarh Golf Club on all of the above five dates. For these five days the Driving Range will be given exclusively to Maxx Power Golf by Chandigarh Golf Club for half day each day to conduct this event. There will be prizes for the people taking part in the pre-qualifiers as well. Professional Golfers would automatically play in the finals”. Capt GS Ghuman added “the various sponsors of the event will put up their stalls according to the space allotted to them and it would be a complete carnival kind of atmosphere where golfers of all categories along with their families will enjoy the entire week long golf carnival. Over a 1000 participants are expected to take part in this event in 10 categories”.

According to Sukhsimran Singh Gill “the Professional Golfers would be competing for a total prize money of Rs. 3 Lacs. The first Prize for Professionals will be Rs.1 lac and up to the 20th place will be awarded with a cash prize”. A total of 10 categories have been kept and there will be prizes in all categories.
