Florida: The 47-year-old English golfer, Lee Westwood goes head-to-head with Bryson DeChambeau, thereby going into The Players Championship final round.
Westwood seeks to be the oldest PGA Tour, winner in 11 years, moved to 13 under par with a bogey-free four-under 68. On the heels of his solo-second at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, Lee Westwood leads for the second time in the last four rounds on TOUR (led by one after 54 holes at the Arnold Palmer Invitational)

DeChambeau, who was in heavy contention with Westwood to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, shot a 67 to finish on 11 under on a pleasant day at TPS, Sawgrass.
In the 2nd round of the Players’ Championship Lee Westwood and Mathew Fitzpatrick were on the top of the leaderboard, while on the 3rd day of the tournament Mathew’s ranking plummeted down to the eighth position and the 2nd position was grabbed by Bryson DeChambeau, making him a tough competition for England’s Lee Westwood.
On the 3rd day of the tournament, Lee Westwood lies in heavy contention with DeChambeau making it difficult to guess who would be the titleholder. Furthermore, With an undying zeal to lift the title, Westwood Cards his second straight bogey-free round and the seventh of his career at THE PLAYERS, the most of any player since 2005; has played 44 consecutive holes without a bogey.
"It's like the rematch," smiled Westwood. "That will be fun. I like playing with Bryson, he is a breath of fresh air. "I have always tried to have fun, but it is easier now - I don't allow the game of golf to affect me mentally anymore." Westwood quoted.
Thus, with his mind-boggling shots he has marked his second consecutive 54-hole lead, as he led by one through three rounds at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard; entering this week, he has converted 1-of-6 third-round leads/co-leads on the PGA TOUR into victory.
