In an exclusive interaction with 4moles.com about her new milestone, Vani shared, “The past couple of years have been difficult with Covid around, having playing rights but not being able to travel. My game has been good but wasn’t getting the results. Keeping the self belief and trying again and again, tournament after tournament was difficult. Finally to crack 1 week makes all the hard work and perseverance worth it!”
For all the attention that often encompasses men’s golf, the milestones achieved by India's women power-puffed golfers mustn’t be forgotten either. India’s Vani Kapoor has had a remarkable run of success at the top level of women’s golf. And now, the phenomenal golfer has once again set new standards of excellence by finishing her career-best T-3 at the Big Green Egg Open Golf tournament in Netherlands- organized by the Ladies European Tour.
Kapoor, who shot 69-70-71 in the first three rounds, added 73 in the final round to total five-under, just two shots shy of Anna Nordqvist, a three-time Major winner. Kapoor had a bogey on the second, before she earned a shot back with a birdie on the eighth. Another dropped shot on the 14th saw her fall a shot back behind the leading pair once again.

Yes, it’s certainly worth it! It's wonderful to see the gems of Indian Golf shine so brightly on the global radar.
Diksha Dagar, who was also in the running after the first two rounds, dropped to T-17 with a final round of 77, that included four bogeys between sixth and 12th and then a double on Par-5 17th.
