Nishtha Madan who has been playing pro golf in the USA for the past two years failed to qualify for the 3rd & final stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament.
After shooting rounds of 75-73-71-71 (2-over 290) to finish tied-75th in Stage-II in Florida last week, Nishtha landed on a miss and failed to move ahead in the tournament. The 2nd stage qualifying tournament allowed the top 45 players to advance to the LPGA’s final two weeks Q-series, which begins in early December in Alabama.
In May 2020, under the classic lockdown, Madan graduated in Psychology from Sacramento State University, California and turned professional the same month. She has already notched up five pro wins playing on the Cactus Tour, a developmental tour based out of Arizona and the Kentucky Women’s Open.
Previously in Stage-I, Nishtha shot 71-68-72-73 (4-under 284) to finish tied-27th at Rancho Mirage in California to qualify for Stage-II.
