Mann then converted a 10-feet birdie putt on the 10th to go up to five under. The 27-year-old made his longest putt of the day, a 15-footer on the 12th, to pocket his sixth birdie. Gurbaaz ended the day at seven under after he sank another birdie on the 16th.
Mann said, “I’m really pleased with my effort today. I putted really well even though the greens here are very tricky. I also hit it pretty close through the day and used the lob wedge to perfection. One needs to be accurate off the tee at this course as the rough is up. It’s important to know how to make good use of the lob wedge here.”
