Local golfer Sandeep Bobby Sandhu has secured his spot to represent India at the upcoming Asia Pacific Senior Championship in Vietnam, taking place from November 21 to 23.

His selection came following the recent competitive trials held alongside the IGU Seniors Championship at RCGC Kolkata, where a team of four talented golfers, including David D'Souza of Bangalore, Gaurav Ghosh, and Jaideep Singh from Kolkata, was chosen.
Sandeep Sandhu's credentials include being the 2023 Order of Merit Winner on the AVT Senior Golf Tour, and he currently leads in the 2024 season on the same tour. Notably, in previous years, IPS Mann and Jaspreet Bakshi, hailing from the Chandigarh Golf Club, have represented the Indian senior team in this prestigious event.
It's important to mention that the Asia Pacific Senior Championship is specifically designed for golfers aged 55 and above.
