June 2nd 2015, Gurgaon, India: Chandigarh’s Kartik Digvijay Singh took home a one stroke lead at the end of the first round of the TGF SRF North Zone Talent Search Golf Championship being played here at Golden Greens Golf & Country Club.

On his way to an even-par 72, he dropped a stroke on the 2nd hole before gaining one on the 5th hole. He repeated the drill dropping one on the sixth hole while gaining one on the 9th hole to go out even-par for the day. He changed gears with a quite sublime eagle 3 on the 11th hole followed by a monstrous birdie on the 12th hole to go three under for the day. He could not continue his momentum as he made bogeys on the 13th, 16th and 17th holes to card the day’s best score.

Manav Bais leads the Boys Category B with a well compiled one-over 73 tied in second place overall with Shubham Narain. Daksh Shokeen is tied fourth overall and second in Category B three strokes.

Boys Category C event starts on the morrow along with the Girls Category A, B, and C events which will be competed for over three rounds.
