1. General
The Thomas Cook Indian Golf League Season 1 will be played over 6 rounds of competitive golf on three different courses.

Players from each round will qualify for the Grand Finale which will be played after the conclusion of the 6 rounds as per procedure mentioned below.

The organisers have the discretion to increase or decrease the number of rounds.

2. Scoring: Individual Stableford
There are three forms of Individual Stableford scoring

1) Stableford scoring on 3/4th of Original Handicap
2) Stableford scoring on Double Peoria Handicap Basis
3) Gross Stableford scoring

3. Qualifying for the Grand Finale

2. The 2 Best Stableford Scores on Double Peoria Handicap for the day
3. The Best Gross Stableford Score of the day
4. The Best Lady Golfer scored on Stableford off 3/4th of original handicap

Thus 6 players from each round will qualify for the Grand finale.

In terms of option priority, in case a player qualifies from more than one route, the sequence will be Gross Stableford, Stableford Score on original handicap and then Stableford score on Double Peoria basis.

4. Handicap
Maximum handicap limit will be 24. Players will play off 3/4ths of their original handicaps.
Players without an official handicap will play the Double Peoria system.
Players with handicaps will also get scored off the Peoria handicap.
The players who qualify for the finals based on Handicap Option 1, ie off their original handicaps may be required to furnish an authenticated handicap certificate during the Grand Finale.

5. Handicap Adjustments

If a player has played 4 or more strokes under his original handicap, his handicap during the finals will be reduced by 1 stroke.

6. Number of times a player can play:
A player can play as many times as he wishes, subject to availability of spots. Each day, thus, offers him a new opportunity to qualify for the Grand Finale.
