Standing at the first position in the Magical kenya ladies Open 2023 by having the winning nine shots to win her LET Title for the fourth time India’s Star Aditi Ashok won €45,000
The two-time Olympian Produced one-over 74 in the final round of the tournament played at Vipingo Ridge Golf Club in Kenya for a total payout of €300,000. Hitting three bogeys and two birdies on the final day of the tournament was kind of a tough afternoon for Ashok, but her week in the previous week made her way to win the trophy.
Another Indian to finished in top-10 was amateur Avani Prashanth, who had a bogey free back nine in the final round and finished tied 9 in the Kenya Ladies Open as she is all ready to chase her Rolex ranking points.

“It has been a great week, it’s proof to myself that my off-season and hard work has paid off,” said Ashok.“It was just hard to get that shot out of my mind, I think that hole [the eighth] doesn’t suit my eye so I didn’t play it that well today, but after that I think I got back into my rhythm and just kept hitting fairways and greens. I think the last few holes, I didn’t make many good swings but it’s okay, I guess!
Caddying her again, her father Gudlamani also felt proud of her daughter, as she paid tribute to her father for her win in her first trip to the winner’s circle on the LET since the 2017 Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open.
She added: “It was good to have my dad on the bag – three of my wins have been with him caddying, but not just him there’s my mum back home and I have worked a lot with my coach and my fitness team.
Standing on the podium as runner’s up came England’s Alice Hewson and Thailand’s April Angurasaranee who scored a three-under-par in the Ladies European Tour season-opener.
“It’s been a really enjoyable first trip to Kenya, I loved the golf course and quite enjoyed playing in the wind,” said Hewson.
Thailand’s Angurasaranee carded a total of 3-under par (71-71-70-77) and managed enough to finish T-2 and earned a superb start to her rookie Year on the LET.

Aditi Ashok is now on the top in the 2023 Race to Costa del Sol after this win where she got all 500 points before Hewson and Angurasaranee who got 275 points each.
