The first two rounds of the tour are over now that, has been played at the Torrey Pines South Course. Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri scored two-under 70 to make the cut and be placed Tied-62 at the halfway stage of the Farmers Insurance Open.
The Indian ace had the satisfaction of being bogey-free despite only making one birdie on either side of the green at Torrey Pines (South). With rounds of 71-70, he is at 3-under par, which was also the cutline, and is ranked T-62, 14 places higher than he was after the first round.Lahiri created a bunch of opportunities for birdies between 10-15 feet, but he missed at least six of them, including one within 10 feet.
His birdies came on the par-four 12th and the par-four fifth holes.He'll need to capitalize on his bogey-free round to move up the leaderboard and finish well this weekend.

Three players, including current World No. 1 Jon Rahm and former World No. 1 Justin Thomas, were tied for the lead after 36 holes at 13-under par. Adam Schenk, a day shy of his 30th birthday, was the third player in the shared lead.
Right present, Asia's best player, Korean golfer Si Woo Kim, who shot an 8-under 64 to jump into contention.He's tied for sixth place, four points behind Thomas, Schenk, and Rahm.
Kim, a three-time PGA TOUR champion, made seven birdies and one eagle on the North Course at Torrey Pines for a two-day total of 9-under 135.

Schenk's 62 on the North Course hitted eight successive birdies from Hole Nos. 4-11, while Thomas, the 2017 FedExCup champion, and Rahm, who won the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines last year, shot 63 and 65 on the North Course, respectively, to share the lead at 13-under.
On the North Course, Rahm birdied three of his first four holes and three of his final four for a 7-under 65, while Thomas shot a 9-under 63 with nine birdies and no bogeys. Dustin Johnson shot a 3-under 69 with five birdies and two bogeys to finish T-17.

Phil Mickelson, the three-time Farmers Insurance Open champion, shot a 1-under 71 in round two to miss the cut for the second time in as many weeks.Sungjae Im, another Korean, had a superb 66 on the more challenging South Course to tie for 12th place at 8-under.After rounds of 72 (South Course) and 67 (North Course), C.T. Pan of Chinese Taipei and Hideki Matsuyama of Japan will enter the final two rounds on 5-under par (North Course).
During the first two days, players participate in one round each on the North and South Courses, with the latter being used for the last two rounds.
