Diksha's early life was marked by numerous obstacles. She struggled with hearing impairment from birth until age 5, when a cochlear implant opened new avenues but adapting was no simple task. Diksha's transition from swimming to golf was heavily influenced by her love of nature and desire to travel the world. Golf allowed her to enjoy early morning serenity as well as bird melodies. Encouraged by her father, an army officer, Diksha took up golf seriously and trained intensively before eventually winning tournaments and making herself known in the golf community.
Diksha faced many hurdles in school and sports life, often struggling to understand her teachers due to hearing impairment. With support from supportive friends and a positive environment, however, she was eventually able to overcome them and eventually balance academics alongside rigorous golf training, often practicing after school for extended hours each day. Her determination was apparent as she practiced after-school hours!

Most recently in 2019 she made international waves by winning the Investec South African Women's Open which increased her rankings while opening up doors to major global tournaments.
Achievements of Diksha Dagar
Diksha credits her success to an established training and diet regimen. Each morning begins early with physical exercises followed by golf practice sessions. Even with her busy travel schedule, Diksha strives to maintain a healthy diet by choosing vegetarian options when possible while adapting them when necessary for her rigorous physical demands. As rewards for reaching targets, celebratory treats like ice cream serve as motivation.
Competing at an international level demands immense mental fortitude. Diksha emphasizes the importance of enjoying her sport rather than succumbing to pressure during competitions; her approach has been to play naturally while remaining focused - an approach she has refined over time through experience and self-awareness.
