In a thrilling day of golf in Singapore, Australian golfer Hannah Green clinched victory at the 16th edition of the Women’s World Championship, marking her fourth LPGA Tour win. Green secured her win with a spectacular 27-foot putt on the final hole, edging past French contender Celine Boutier by one stroke.

Green commenced her round steadily, starting with four consecutive pars. Her first birdie came on the par-5 5th hole, followed by another on the par-4 9th, turning at 10-under par. Despite a bogey on the 10th, she quickly rebounded with a birdie on the 12th. Green maintained her momentum with pars from holes 13 to 15. However, it was her birdies on the last three holes that propelled her to victory, securing the title by a single stroke.

Reflecting on her performance, Green mentioned her challenges with long-range putts throughout the day until her crucial putts on the final holes, expressing her elation upon realizing her win.
Runner-up Celine Boutier started with a birdie on the first hole and maintained consistency with pars on the front nine. She gained momentum with birdies on the 8th and subsequent holes, ultimately finishing with a birdie on the par-3 15th to reach 12-under par.

Four players tied for third place, including Yuna Nishimura and Mi Hyang Lee, who showcased impressive performances in the final round. Canadian Brooke Henderson and Nasa Hataoka also secured third place, with Henderson achieving her fifth top-10 finish at the Women’s World Championship.
